More teams have confirmed their presence at the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway in January 2021.
High Class Racing is the latest amongst the LMP2 entrants. The Danish team based in Barcelona haven’t announced any drivers yet, but it would be strange if Anders Fjordbach was not to be found in the car, since he is always present in their entries. He hasn’t raced at Daytona yet but did participate in the Sebring 12 hours in 2019, where he finished second in the LMP2 category with PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports.
The team will ship one of their ORECA 07 Gibson cars to the legendary oval. They haven’t confirmed, if they are going to do the FIA World Endurance Championship again next year, but if they do, they would only have to transport the cars a couple of hours to the south, since the FIA WEC opening race is at Sebring in the middle of March.

DragonSpeed will also enter the Daytona race. The team has won the race for the previous two years, so they will be aiming at doing a hattrick. Only Eric Lux is confirmed in that entry so far, but their three FIA WEC drivers, Ben Hanley, Henrik Hedman and Juan Pablo Montoya, would probably love to do the race. But that’s not a given yet.
They will also run an ORECA 07 Gibson, that the team has freighted back to the USA, after their double-entry at Le Mans 2020. The team’s other car is currently located in Barcelona, at Racing Engineering, and will be used for their FIA WEC programme in 2021.
The Rolex 24 at Daytona 2021 will be run on 30-31 January, with the ROAR test being run one week prior.
